About me
I am a graduate of the Molecular Biology and Biochemistry program at Simon Fraser University. I have research experience in cancer and stem cell biology, as well as leadership experience from long-term community volunteering and event organizing, and internal communications experience gained through volunteer involvement.
I served twice as the President of the International Students’ Group at SFU, concentrating on policy-making and long-term planning. I worked intensely to put a volunteer system in place and updating the mission and vision statements of the organization, while representing more than a thousand international students on all three SFU campuses. You can see the volunteer booklets I produced in partnership with a graphic designer in the Portfolio section.
I have recently joined the BC Psychological Association as Communications Officer & Advertising Liaison. If you are interested in my work experience, you can find more information in my résumé, or through my LinkedIn profile. I have published several articles both as an independent writer or on behalf of the ISG – you can also access these from the Portfolio section.
