Photography

Aside from staying up to date with website tools and internet applications, I am also an amateur photographer. I use a Minolta that, I am proud to say, is actually older than me, and gives me full manual control. I am quite good with color shots and portraits, but my forte is black-and-white artistic photography. I will be setting up a photo gallery soon, so stay tuned!

Website design & management

I am able to design websites from scratch using Dreamweaver, as well as managing existing websites also using Dreamweaver, or a WordPress platform. Websites are provided with Web 2.0 tools for sharing and interactivity when required. These are some of the websites I have designed and maintained.

Giovanna Di Sauro

This was my old website, hosted on the SFU servers. The website was completely designed and maintained using Dreamweaver. Currently I have only left the front page up, but if you are interested in seeing the whole website, please contact me.

International Students’ Group

The International Students’ Group is a constituency group operating under the rules of the Simon Fraser Student Society. The Group is entirely funded by the Society, and run by student volunteers.

The Group’s vision is to create a community with equal access to services and self-representation where international students succeed in work and academics, and its mission is to represent, advocate, organize events and educate the community to raise awareness of international students’ issues.

The website was completely designed and maintained using Dreamweaver. I was responsible for the website from its inception a few years ago, until April 2007. This website is temporarily down because of hosting issues, but if you are interested in seeing more of it, you can contact me.
